Company Profile

Mineral-Loy commenced trading in 1975 to meet the needs of the users of metals, minerals and alloys in the South African market. At the time of establishment, focus was on the welding electrode industry, but it soon widened its scope of activities to iron and steel foundries, the aluminium industry and ceramic and refractory products. Mineral-Loy has recently also made acquisitions in the chemicals and automotive aftermarket space which significantly widens our product offering and exploits the synergies between the various trading/wholesale businesses.
