Master Alloys

Copper

Copper is a soft, malleable and ductile metal with very high thermal and electrical conductivity. Cu has a red-orange metallic luster. Used as a conductor in electrical components, coins, jewellery, thermocouples in temperature measurements.

Aluminium

Aluminium is a soft, ductile and non- magnetic with a silver – white shine in appearance. Most widely used metal as it is used in car bodies, aerospace, mobile phones, computers. Al is one of the lightest metals but very strong, flexible and corrosion resistance due to thin layer of oxide film forming on the surface. Also a good conductor of electricity.

Nickel

Nickel is a silvery-white lustrous hard malleable and ductile transition metal. Ni has high electrical and thermal conductivity. Mainly used in the stainless steel and nickel-based alloys and also copper based alloys. Nickel has been widely used in coins, it is also used in plating, and battery sectors Available in waffle bar, ingot, wire and rod form.
