Medium Carbon Ferromanganese
Medium Carbon Ferromanganese (MCFeMn) is a ferroalloy containing manganese with a controlled medium carbon content, widely used in steelmaking as an alloying and deoxidising agent. It enhances the strength, hardness, toughness and wear resistance of steel while providing an economical balance between manganese addition and carbon control. Medium carbon ferromanganese is commonly used in the production of structural steels, engineering steels, and other alloy steel grades where moderate carbon levels are acceptable.
