Inoculation refers to the introduction of nuclei into the melt in order to influence the solidification process in the casting. Nuclei serve as a crystallisation centre for graphite precipitation in cast iron.

A full range of more specialized Barium, Manganese-Zirconium, Strontium, Bismuth and Lanthinium containing inoculants are available on request. These inoculants are available in granule (furnace, ladle, and late stream), powder (pipe), cored wire and tablet form.
